step 1   grasp the knife by the sides of the handle, being carefull to keep fingers clear of the blade. pull the handle forward and down. warning !! this is dangerous and great care should be given when using this product.in this step note the blade tip is exposed to the hand.

	step 3   the blade will then be in motion. let the blade snap up to mid chest level and stop your motion to let the lock snap into place. the knife is open and locked into position. to sheath the knife push it straight in from the top of the sheath until it clicks into place. must be positioned correctly as the knife only fits one way in the sheath

	step 2 continue with the forward draw motion. the knife will pop free of the sheath.
